Knitting Pattern for a Greyhound Sweater

Greyhound owners with a flair for knitting can rejoice in this free Ravelry pattern for a stylish dog sweater custom-designed for those long greyhound bodies.
This greyhound sweater knitting pattern is about an intermediate skill level, largely because the tapering and gusset will take a bit of attention. It's knitted from Worsted / 10 ply (9 wpi) yarn, on needle size US 7 - 4.5 mm.
When that cold weather comes on, every greyhound will be grateful for a cosy sweater that buttons snugly at the side to keep the belly warm.The turtleneck can be worn rolled down or pulled up to double as an ear-warmer!

Here, our greyhound model is the mature and handsome Sam. His sweater was knitted with Lion Brand Wool-Ease yarn, in a gorgeous Blue Heather color, by Kathy (aka KathyinGeorgia on Ravelry.com).
